The first method uses bigcrumbs.com.
Bigcrumbs gives 36% of the total listing fees of an item back to you! (average cashback of 2% - 3% of the items selling price)

The second method may or may not be available to you at this time, eBay is slowly rolling it out 
to everyone. The method is called ebay bucks. If you haven't heard of it just wait and you should get a message 
from ebay when your selected to participate. (Learn more about eBay Bucks)

Ebay bucks is completely automatic (2% cashback or more) To earn cashback with eBay bucks, just bid or buy 
an item on ebay and pay with PayPal and you will get at least 2% cashback. 

Your ebay bucks will accumulate untill the earning deadline (each period is 3 months).  
A few days after the earning deadline has passed, ebay will send you a message explaining 
how much you have earned and how to redeem your ebay bucks.

The last method is using a credit card that offers cashback. 
I currently get 1.25% cashback by using my american express accelerated rewards card as my payment method through PayPal.
(This can be combined with bigcrumbs at other stores!)


This is how to stack/combine the eBay Cashback methods listed above

(Cookies Must be enabled to combine multiple methods!)


You MUST do all these steps on every item you buy!

Step 1: Go to ebay.ca and find the item you want to buy. 
(For maximum eBay cashback find an item with free shipping and no tax 
because you don't receive cashback on taxes or shipping charges.) 
Once you have found the item you want, click the "watch this item" link. (login if necessary)

Step 2: In the same browser go to bigcrumbs.com and log in. 
Do a search for ebay on bigcrumbs (clicking the link will do the search for you). 
On the results page (This is a good page to bookmark) scroll down and find ebay.ca and click shop now. 
This should take you to ebay.ca (You may need to enter your login information if you haven't used bigcrumbs in a while). 
 
Step 3: Go to your "my ebay" page (you should still be logged in) (if you are not logged in, try setting 
your security settings to default, close all browser windows and restart the process 
or use a different browser) (I use the latest version of Mozilla Firefox and have never had a problem.)

Step 4: In your "my ebay" click on the listing you clicked to watch.

Step 5: Click the buy it now button.

Step 6: Click to pay for your item and log into PayPal. 
(If you have a rewards card that is not on your PayPal account already, add it at this time.)

Step 7: Change your funding source to your rewards card if you have one and complete your payment.

Step 8: Pay off the balance of the card you just used to avoid interest charges!

Step 9: Enjoy your cashback when you get it. (optional but recomended) :)

What happened to bing cashback?
Many of the visitors to this page are searching for "ebay bing cashback".

unfortunately, bing cashback stopped working at the end of July :( 

I get many questions asking if bing cashback will ever return and my 
answer is: Probably not because bing wasn't working the way microsoft expected.

Microsoft's idea was to offer an incentive to get people to switch 
their default search engine to bing, but too many people were only 
using bing search when they were shopping (for the cashback). 
This was costing microsoft too much money so bing stopped offering cashback. 

This is very sad because bing cashback stacked perfectly with the 3 methods listed above.

But I have good news!
